State laws require companies to collect sales tax from residents shipping merchandise to states where the company has established offices. As Well Baskets is located in Connecticut; we are, therefore, required to collect sales taxes on orders shipped to locations in the state of Connecticut. There is no sales tax on food items or in baskets consisting of greater than 50% non-taxable items. In addition, sales tax does not apply to the shipping cost of non-taxable items, but will be calculated for baskets in which sales tax applies.Well baskets aren't just "get well" baskets!!
